Joker are a four piece Indie/Rock band formed in 2003 and regularly perform over 50 shows a year.
Considered by many to be Plymouth’s most successful covers band, having played at virtually every live music venue within the city and throughout the SouthWest to capacity crowds.The band has huge energy on stage and perform each gig as if it’s their last! The show is accentuated by a professional light and laser show adding to the electric atmosphere.
Although Joker are best known for Indie rock covers, some earlier original tracks made it onto an acclaimed surfing video documentary ‘Long Way Round’. 2010 has been the most successful year to date and the following summarises Joker’s most memorable moments:

Televised BBC Spotlight appearance as the resident band for ‘Children in Need’
2011 saw the launch of the band’s first CD single. A cover of the Cranberries classic "Zombie", recorded to raise money for Help For Heroes after a close personal friend of the band received devastating news that his son Samuel Bassett had been killed whilst serving in Afghanistan. The EP also contains covers of "Run" by Snow Patrol and "Monster" by The Automatic as well as live footage of "Time is Running Out" by Muse. |
